This sleepy little fella is Sparta, my best friend. He’s lazy, and weird. But I found him at 8 weeks old on the night of July 17th and instantly fell in love. I named him Sparta because he’s got a little bite in him, literally. He’s feisty,
don’t let that face fool you. And as little as he is, he has a big heart. He finds comfort in sleeping on my chest and listening to my heartbeat as well as sprinting through my house in the mornings and eating my food. I can’t scroll through my newsfeed with out him walking on my keyboard or trying to scratch at the moving words. I can’t walk around my room without him attacking my feet. But I can come home and find him at the back door waiting for me. He comes to my room before bed and curls up to my feet so I don’t have to sleep alone. If I’m upset, he’ll do something quirky to make me laugh. An odd little ball of fur, that I’m so grateful to have in my life. It’s strange how an animal can attach to you and make you feel loved.
